Sirodhara

Since my arrival, I have done several Ayurvedic massages.
Sumesh who had massaged me in Pondicherry had advised me to do a Sirodhara when I will be in Kerala. I did it today.
The session lasted one hour, divided into two half-hours. For the first half hour, the masseur performs an enveloping massage without pressure and copiously sprinkled with hot oil. The second half hour, the head is placed under the container. The container, suspended from a chain, is equipped with a tap that allows it to close, to produce a drip drop or a light trickle or a wider trickle. The masseur manages the flow and performs back and forth movements by sweeping the forehead.
After 10 minutes, I was struggling with sleep. I succumbed to it and the masseur woke me up several times. Feeling of relaxation like I have never felt.
And this relaxation lasts. It has now been over 4 hours and I am in the same state of total relaxation.
I am used to massages in France and Asia but such relaxation, so intense and lasting, I had never felt it.
