Delhi
Flight from Kochi to Delhi without concern except that my two vapers, one in the hold and the other in hand luggage, did not survive the checks. Confiscated. So, after dropping off my luggage at the guesthouse, I set off on an adventure to try to find one.
I stay in the backpacker district “Pahar Ganj” located between New Delhi and Old Delhi.
I find myself in the street and Kumar approaches me. Very quickly I tell him about my research and he replies that he will help me, that he knows where to find some. Once purchased the vapoteuse, Kumar offers me to go nibble a piece and, while discussing, he invites me to visit his family. I accept.
We will therefore leave by auto-rickshaw in the eastern suburbs of Delhi.

Delhi is a city full of trees, very airy. There are many parks with lawns and ponds.
There are many monuments to visit. But things have changed over the past two years.
On the one hand, there is the covid which has brought down the tourist economy and, on the other hand, the tensions with Pakistan raise fears of the risk of attacks so that many sites are closed at the moment.
However, there are still a few open…
Ugrasen ki Baoli
A stepwell (Baoll) is an underground structure for water storage, primarily constructed to accommodate seasonal fluctuations in water availability. This well is said to have been built by Raja Ugrasen.

Red Fort
Red Fort is the residence of the Maharajas. An enormous luxury protected by imposing walls. Red Fort or the Indian “Versailles”…

Private pavilions of the Maharajas. White marble encrusted with rare stones…

Fort Rouge is being restored. The Maharajas’ apartments are not open to the public.
So I put you photos taken in the magnificent museum of Fort Rouge.
1- The cold water room
2- The perfume room. Fragrant breaths emanate from the ground.
3- Marble bench for special massages
4- The Hamman (steam and hot water)
